There’s something about a May wedding that feels effortlessly timeless and immeasurably exciting, and Maeve and John’s celebration was the perfect reflection of that.
Set against the fresh greens of spring and filled with thoughtful, classic details, their wedding day felt both elevated and inviting from beginning to end.
Maeve and John chose to host their ceremony off-site, a great option for couples who want to incorporate a meaningful location into their day while still enjoying a seamless reception experience.
One of the things we love most is how easily the day can flow back into Fishermen’s Inn. Providing couples with the flexibility to design a day that feels completely their own, without sacrificing ease for their guests.

Their design leaned into a rich and romantic palette of deep burgundy, black, and soft white florals, creating a look that felt both timeless and seasonally appropriate.
Bridesmaids wore flowing burgundy gowns, while the florals featured delicate white blooms with soft greenery, bringing in a fresh spring feel.
The result was a beautifully balanced aesthetic: elegant, refined, and never overdone.

Inside the reception space, warm wood tones, exposed beams, and soft candlelight created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and welcoming.
From the grand chandelier overhead to the signature windmill feature wall, the space offers a natural sense of character, allowing each couple’s decor to complement, rather than compete with, the setting.
Round tables with crisp linens, classic glassware, and low floral arrangements kept the focus on connection and conversation, while still feeling thoughtfully styled.

We couldn’t wait to share one of the most memorable touches from Maeve and John’s day: mini tambourines for their guests! An interactive favor that added so much energy and personality to the celebration.
Paired with fun elements like signature drink signage and a dessert spread filled with bite-sized treats, the night felt lively, personal, and full of moments guests could truly enjoy.

From portraits by the water to sunset moments on the bridge, the property offered a variety of stunning backdrops throughout the day.
As the evening set in, string lights created a soft glow, perfect for those quiet, just-married moments that feel incredibly magical.

Spring is one of the most sought-after seasons for a reason, and Maeve and John’s day is a perfect example of why.
